Site Design and Creation

Websites for San Luis Obispo County businesses, built lean and written around the questions your customers actually ask.

Most small-business sites fail in the same two ways. They are slow, because they were built on a page builder stacking a dozen scripts on every view. And they are vague, because the copy was written to sound professional rather than to answer the question the visitor arrived with.

We build the other way around. Content first, from a short conversation about what people call you about and what you want more of. Then the lightest markup that presents it well on a phone.

What a build includes

  • A working structure. Home, a page per service, a service-area page, and a contact page that a real person monitors. More pages when there is more to say, not to pad a sitemap.
  • Copy written for your town. Specific to what you do and where you do it. Nothing generic, nothing filled in with placeholder text.
  • Mobile-first layout. Designed at phone width first, because that is where local searches happen, then widened for desktop.
  • Click-to-call above the fold. Your number reachable in one tap on every page, not buried in a footer.
  • Compressed, correctly sized images. Modern formats with dimensions set in the markup so nothing jumps as the page paints.
  • A contact form that actually delivers. Wired to a real mailbox on your own domain and tested with a live submission before launch.

What we leave out, on purpose

No page builders. No sliders. No fifteen-plugin stacks where four of them load jQuery. Every one of those is a payment your visitors make in load time, and you almost never get the value back.

If a feature earns its weight we will build it. The bar is simply whether it helps someone decide to call you.

How it runs

A straightforward site is usually live inside a week. We start with a short call about your services and service area, come back with the structure and draft copy for your review, build it, then test on real phones before anything goes public. You approve the copy before it ships.

When it launches, it is yours. Your domain registration, your hosting account, your content. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, you can, and we will help you do it.

Tell us what you do and where.

That is genuinely enough to start. We will come back with what the site should say and what it should cost.
